For yoga teachers and practitioners with min. 1 year experience and an introductory knowledge of anatomy.
Unified Body Yoga is a gateway to a more skillful, satisfying, and transformational teaching experience. By becoming familiar with the workings of the neural-myofascial web and employing a deeper awareness of body physiology, you can lead classes that invite each student into a personal relationship with their authentic self.
This experiential approach rests firmly upon the foundational practices of Kripalu Yoga including BRFWA (breathe, relax, feel, watch, and allow), ESRIT (enter, sustain, release, integrate, and transition), and Swami Kripalu’s essential practice of self-observation without judgment. You learn to:

-
Craft and language complete classes for your students, combining safety, challenge, effort, and ease
-
Guide asana that focuses on “wisdom-centered movement”—the skillful expression of postures reflecting experience, knowledge, and good judgment
-
Share an awareness that results in a more meaningful relationship with the koshas.
-

Deepen your understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics as you learn how to lead yoga classes grounded in experiential familiarity with the biologic fabric of the body.
